CHIS Jazz Band and Honors Choir

The Citrus Hills Intermediate Jazz Band and Honors Choir had a whirlwind tour of 4 elementary schools in one day back in January.  The band and choir performed 30 min. concerts at each school.  It was their second day of touring that week!  Both groups did a wonderful job of spreading holiday cheer to enthusiastic students and staff.  It was a wonderful time for all.  The Jaguar Jazz Cats is directed by Kevin McGee and the Honors Choir is directed by Karen Landrum.  Video shot by IE Music.  Here’s the link:

Ramirez Intermediate Alma Mater

We had the privilege of attending the Ramirez Intermediate Band Winter Concert back in December 2013.  For those of you who don’t know, Ramirez Intermediate is located in Eastvale, CA, and directed by Jill Geist.  At this concert, it featured their premiere performance of the school’s alma mater.  It was written by a former student, Isabella Sarreal and arranged by Steve Schmidt of Riverside City College.  The song was sung by Rylee Patton and Brittany Hoekman.

Citrus Hills Fall Concert

Video for the Citrus Hills Intermediate School Fall Concert has been uploaded to the IEMusicStore YouTube channel:  We didn’t have access to a high-quality video camera so please excuse the quality.  The sound quality is fine, however.  The concert was broken up into 3 segments and posted to the Citrus Hills category.  The first segment features the Jaguar Jazz Cats, the second segment features the Beginning and Intermediate Concert Bands, and the third segment features the percussion ensemble (conducted by Taylor Estep) and the Jaguar Concert Band (otherwise known as the Advanced Band).  If you have relatives or friends from out of town or just weren’t able to attend the concert, please share the video with them.  Hope you enjoy it!  If you would like a copy of the audio or video, please let us know.  Thank you for your interest in our videos!
